As we walk towards the end of the semester, it’s nice to see the kids buying into things. I’m actually buying into some of it, too. Today, I Benched 235 for nine on my last set, then zipped through a nonstop 100 rep 16K Kettlebell snatch workout. Like I noted on the Q and A section, I break it down like Rif noted: 20 left, 20 right, 15, 15, 10, 10, 5, 5. You don’t even count the total just push the small little increments. Then, Boom!, you are done. I am going to work up to multiple sets of 100, but don’t hold your breath.
The Dynamax medicine balls, in case I never mentioned it, are so good it stuns me. We are doing upwards of 100-150 different throws a day with 10-15 different exercises (I blew up and laminated these large med ball workout sheets) and it is amazing to see how tired the kids are getting. They stand, move, knee, lay down, and, well, you name it and toss them in dozens of different ways.
So, in five minutes, we are done. I like to make things quick.
